2. Order Processing Time
All orders are subject to a processing period before dispatch. Processing includes payment verification, packaging, and handover to our logistics partner.

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after payment. A separate dispatch notification with your tracking number will be sent once your order has been handed to our logistics partner.

4. International Shipping
Bellabooks ships internationally to selected destinations. All international orders are shipped via reputable international courier services.

International delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, local postal services, or other factors beyond our control.
Important — Customs, Duties & Taxes:
For international orders, your country’s customs authority may apply import duties, taxes, or handling fees upon arrival. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Bellabooks does not collect or cover customs fees. We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before placing an international order.
5. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location, the weight of your order, and the shipping method available.

Shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases where the error was made by Bellabooks (e.g., wrong item sent). Free shipping promotions, where applicable, will be clearly communicated on our website.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing:
Your tracking number
The name of the logistics partner handling your delivery
A link or instructions to track your order in real time
If you do not receive a tracking email within 3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam/junk folder first, then contact us at support@shopbellabooks.com.
7. Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries
Our logistics partners will make reasonable attempts to deliver your order to the address provided at checkout. Please note the following:
If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the logistics partner may leave a delivery notice or attempt redelivery on the next business day
It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the order at the provided address
If delivery fails because of an incorrect address provided by you, Bellabooks will not be responsible, and refunds will not be issued
If delivery fails because the recipient refused the package, Bellabooks will not be responsible, and refunds will not be issued
If your order is returned to us due to a failed delivery, we may offer to reship at your cost
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Address corrections after dispatch may not always be possible and may incur additional fees.
8. Lost or Damaged Orders
Bellabooks takes care in packaging all orders to minimise the risk of damage in transit. However, if your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please follow the steps below:
If your order arrives damaged:
Contact us within 3 days of receiving your order
Email support@shopbellabooks.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage
We will assess your claim and, where approved, arrange a replacement or refund
If your order appears lost in transit:
Contact us within 4 days of your expected delivery date
Email support@shopbellabooks.com with your order number and tracking details
We will investigate with our logistics partner and provide an update within 5 business days
If the order is confirmed lost, we will arrange a replacement or full refund
Bellabooks is not liable for orders delayed or lost due to incorrect addresses, customs holds, or events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
9. Public Holidays & Delays
Orders placed on Nigerian public holidays or over weekends will be processed on the next available business day. During peak periods such as the Christmas season, Black Friday, or promotional sale events, processing and delivery times may be longer than usual. We will communicate any significant delays via our website and social media channels.
10. Pre-Orders & Reserved Items
For pre-ordered or reserved books, the estimated dispatch date will be communicated at the time of purchase. Bellabooks will notify you by email if there is a change to the expected availability date.
Reserved items are held exclusively for the customer who placed the reservation and cannot be transferred or reassigned. Reserved items are non-refundable (see our Refund & Exchange Policy for full details).
11. Orders with Multiple Items
Where an order contains multiple items, we will aim to dispatch all items together in a single shipment. In some cases, items may be dispatched separately if they are sourced from different locations or if one item causes a delay. You will be notified if your order is split into separate shipments.
